As president of Right Chord Leadership, Michael helps both new and experienced leaders, managers, and supervisors strengthen the essential people skills needed to foster great performance. He achieves this by drawing on the lessons he’s learned as a business consultant, facilitator, and educator for more than 14 years and as a professional musician for over 25 years. Michael’s unconventional workshops, coaching sessions, and consulting services have helped clients increase their engagement survey scores, obtain promotions, lower turnover, and reduce operating costs. Michael has worked successfully with leading companies in a variety of industries, including QVC, SAP, the University of Pennsylvania Health System, Hahnemann University Hospital, Drexel College of Medicine, the City of Philadelphia, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Chester County Hospital, Boeing, The Goddard School, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. He has worked for several not-for-profit organizations as well, including Philadelphia FIGHT, United Communities Southeast Philadelphia, and Liberty Resources. Michael has designed and taught courses in interpersonal relations, organizational behavior, persuasion and influence, and sociology of work at Immaculata University, La Salle University and Temple University. He is 2014 president of the Philadelphia chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and has been a featured speaker at many industry events and conferences. Michael holds a doctorate in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University and a master’s degree in Adult and Organizational Development from Temple University. In addition to his consulting and teaching, Michael currently sings and plays saxophone in two Philadelphia-area bands. He is also actively involved with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR).
