Halloween PR & Marketing Trends You Need to Know

Yes Halloween is a fun time where we get to dress up and go to parties! However, do you know that Halloween can be a great time for your business? Following these quick PR tips to implement these scary-good practices into your business.

3 Quick PR Tips:

1. Host a costume contest – pop culture style! Using social media to celebrate Halloween is one of this year’s biggest trends. Why not take advantage of it by being original and showing you’re on top of the latest trends! Use pop culture and the news to really stimulate the conversation at the water cooler. You can even award a prize to the person who submits the best Halloween costume pic!

2. Host a scary-sale. Just do it – there’s still time left! Don’t be scared; tell everyone about a one-day amazing discount. People are spending an expected $7 Billion on Halloween costumes this year, so they will need a financial break. It’s Halloween so have some fun!

3. Have a ghoulish party. You don’t want your employees to be one of the only ones not participating in Halloween festivities at work. Hosting a Halloween party increases morale and bonds the team even more. Have a Halloween breakfast or lunch, host a department pumpkin carving challenge and make sure employees get to leave the office at a normal hour that will allow them to take the kids trick-or-treating!
